About SwetsODV

In 2007, SwetsODV was established by merging Swets Nautische Personeelsdiensten (Swets Nautical Staff Services) and ODV Dienstverlening (ODV Services). By merging these two companies a solid nautical service provider was created with 40 years of experience, specialised in the supply of skilled nautical staff.

In 2009, SwetsODV further expanded its international activities by adding Oceanwide Inland Shipping to its operational activities, a specialist in the training and seconding of international inland navigation staff. In this year, SwetsODV also added the company Van Laar Scheepvaart to its activities, adding a complete fleet of patrol boats to the existing expertise.

In 2010, SwetsODV has grown into one of the most important players in the maritime flexible labour market and the company is specialised in the supply of skilled nautical staff for inland navigation, the operation of (bridges and locks) ferries and the offer of nautical management (total solutions for ship guidance, hydraulic projects and water-bound infrastructure projects for inland waters). This makes SwetsODV a multi-disciplinary nautical service provider, which promptly has its vigorous, high-quality, flexible and reliable solutions ready as a result of its expertise and strongly developed nautical specialities.
